Combining Data on two worksheets
I have a workbook that contains two worksheets: Bookings and Sales. If the
data in columns Bookings A and B match the data in columns Sales A and B I want the data in Sales Columns C-I to be entered in Bookings Columns J-P. Backround I have two workbooks with customer sales and bookings and want to combine it on one sheet. Not all customers are listed on both. Bookings has 2617 rows and Sales has 2161 rows. The one common factor betweent hem is columns A and B. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thank you, Lee |

Combining Data on two worksheets
Hi Lee
On your Sales sheet enter this formula into J1 - then copy across to P and down as many rows as you need. =(IF(AND($A1=Bookings!$A1,$B1=Bookings!$B1),Bookin gs!C1,"")) HTH - Trevor Williams "Gemi" wrote: I have a workbook that contains two worksheets: Bookings and Sales. Combining Data on two worksheets
I realize now that I made a mistake in what I am trying to accomplish. My
problem is that the data is on different rows in the workbooks, only those that are on the same moved over. Even though column A and B are the commonality they are sometimes on different rows. If they match anywere on the sheet then I would need to carry over that information. i.e. the first three rows carried over but that was it even though Altek is listed on both just different rows Bookings Columns A,B,C Rows 2-6 H1 12267 ACTION EN H1 12575 AERIAL H1 13180 AIR SPARES H1 13748 ALLIED H1 13821 ALL MARINE H1 14105 ALTEK Bookings A,B,C Rows 2-6 H12 12267 ACTION EN H12 12575 AERIAL H12 13180 AIR SPARES H12 14105 ALTEK H12 15664 AQUARION H12 16406 ATLANTIS "Trevor Williams" wrote: Hi Lee On your Sales sheet enter this formula into J1 - then copy across to P and down as many rows as you need. =(IF(AND($A1=Bookings!$A1,$B1=Bookings!$B1),Bookin gs!C1,"")) HTH - Trevor Williams "Gemi" wrote: I have a workbook that contains two worksheets: Bookings and Sales.
