Outlook 2002 2.0 GB Limit
I have been battling this issue for a while now. A client of mine gets large
..pdf files in via Outlook 2002 and they have to save them for security reasons. The .pst file for Outlook 2002 gets up to the 2.0 GB limit really quickly so we are always fighting this and she has to spend a day or so every so often transferring and saving files to her hard drive, which is a waste of time and money. I have tried the patch to correct this 2.0 GB limit but nothing works. Does anyone have any suggestions to overcome this issue? Even another email program or anything to prevent this from happeneing every few months. It makes me look like an idiot. I have put one of the machines on Outlook Express whihc does not have the 2.0 GB limit but this machine is not one I can do that to becuase they use other functions of Outlook 2002. |

There are plugins / third party tools available that automatically strip/move attachements to other locations, and in doing so add a link to the new location in the origonal msg Doubtless someone will post links "Mike" wrote in message ... Every email and attachments can be saved as a file in a directory. If wanted you can remove it from outlook (I guess you will) immediately. This cleans up your outlook directly after sending the email, or after handling the incoming mail. |
