Default New PC, Retail Office 2007, Incorrect Product Key

Just got a new Windows 7 PC.

Installed my Office 2007 (Home and Student) suite onto the PC. During
installation, Windows "accepted" the Product key.

After installation, I started Word so that I could "activate" my Office
2007. When I enter my product key during the activation process, Windows
tells me I have entered an incorrect key.

The only explanation I can think of is that apparently the PC came with a
free trial of Office 2007 (I discovered this after I tried to activate my
Office 2007), and maybe somehow Windows is confused about which product key
it should be accepting.

I purchased Outlook 2007 separately, and I am having the same problem with it.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Mike

You have to uninstall any Trial version together with Activation Assistant
and reboot prior to installing your paid for version
