Default Labels for mass mailing contain duplicate labels

Whenever I try to merge my label info from outlook, it creates duplicate
labels in the word document. For 48 records i get 43 pages instead of 3 pages.
what am I doing wrong?
Thank you.

The links Doug provided will show you how to proceed, but essentially you
need to complete the merge either to a new document or to the printer.
