Outlook does not work
Ibought the Microsoft Outlook 2007. Installed it and it worked fine until
this week. All of a sudden it will not open. The error message refers to a file marked Appdata under users etc but there is no such file on my computer. I have uninstalled Office Outlook and then reinstalled it but it still will not open. I refuse to pay microsoft £46 re queries when Outlook costs circa £70. Obviously something is wrong with the software I was sold as otherwise it would open when reinstalled - what should I do??? is there any thoughts?? Error messages mean something. Keeping it a secret doesn't help. This post is a suggestion for Microsoft, Why did you post this as a suggestion? It's not. -- Brian Tillman [MVP-Outlook] |

Outlook does not work
You would need to post the *exact wording of any err msg*
The folders under users are hidden folders Uninstalling/reinstalling rarely cures anything, nor does that mean there is something wrong with the cd Your first option would be to run Office Diagnostics, from the cd Next you search to include hidden for scanpst.exe, open it & run it against your outlook data file, typically outlook.pst, to see if it finds/fixes any err's Once you've done that report back, for further steps if that doesnt fix it "MJ Silver" wrote in message ...
