individual email addresses on to: line with distribution list

I want to name a distribution list so when the recipient gets the email the name of the list will show on the TO: line instead of the individual email addresses ... like TO: Night managers (which would be the name of the list)
instead of
TO: , etc

or I have seen in the to: field undisclosed recipients ... how does that happen?

you need to use mail merge to have one address on a to line or use the BCC
field to hide addresses from everyone. If you use BCC, put your address in
the to line to prevent spam filters from blocking the message.
