Default 'Send photo to mail recipient' doesn't work

Am trying to e-mail a photo with reduced file size. Right-clicking it opens a
drop-down menu which includes 'send to mail recipient.' Clicking on that
gives the option to reduce file size, but a new e-mail into which to insert
the file doesn't open.

Using Outlook 2007 (within Office 2007 Basic), and XP. Have send reduced
file photos many times previously with Outlook 2002 on a different machine,
and the procedure seems identical. Anybody know what the problem is?

Thanks

I don't have access to Outlook 2007 to check this out, but you might try
looking at your internet options (via either Tools/Internet options in IE or
Internet Options in Control Panel), Programs tab and make sure that Outlook
is selected as your email program. If it isn't, select it from the drop-down
list and try again.

Thanks, but Outlook is selected as my e-mail program. The problem must lie
elsewhere.
