Office 2003 File does not work when downloaded
Please check the Office 2003 Demo file. It must be corrupted. I have
downloaded it several times on different computers and every time I get the message a fatal error has occurred and the installation stops. You help desk won't even listen to me when I tell them there is a problem they just tell me to buy the full version and they will help. Why would I spend over $100 for a program if you demo doesn't work why would I think that the paid version will? This type of behavior from your help center just adds fuel to the contempt and disgust for Microsoft. ---------------- This post is a suggestion for Microsoft, and Microsoft responds to the suggestions with the most votes. Check YOUR systems to see if they have a firewall running that might result
in a corrupted download, or an active download manager that may interfere with the download. Thousands of people have successfully downloaded and installed the trial (including me) so save your contempt for the proper location. It is not Microsoft. -- Milly Staples [MVP - Outlook] Post all replies to the group to keep the discussion intact. Due to the (insert latest virus name here) virus, all mail sent to my personal account will be deleted without reading. The only firewall running is the one in Mircorosft XP.
Why won't the help center provide help if you want people to buy your product. You dont listen (or read) do you?
This is not MS, no one here sells MS software, no one here wants you to buy anything. This is a *public* usernet group - not affiliated to MS "Rick" wrote in message ...
