Product Key being rejected

I just installed Office Pro 2003 on my new HP which came with a trial version
of Office. I did not uninstall the trial version first. When I go to open
Outlook for the first time, it asks for the product key. The product key
worked for the install but it says i am using the wrong product key when I
try to use it on this first use of Outlook. What am i doing wrong?

You should have uninstalled the trial version first. See

you install Office Professional Edition 2003" for more information. Be
sure to back up your Outlook .pst file(s) from the trial version before
you uninstall.
