Default copying events in calendar problem

hi,

I often create similar events within the calendar (MS OL 2003 sp2 on XP). I
used to be able to open a calendar event, select FileCopy to
FolderCalendarOkay, and before I chose Save and Close, I would change the
start time to reflect the new date. This used to save my copied event on the
new date in a calendar view. I don't know what has changed, but now the
copied event stays on the date of the original, instead of moving to the new
date I chose for it. It's not a huge deal, but it requires an extra step of
then dragging the copied item to the new date.

Any advice?

Thanks,
Carmen

I don't know why it's doing it. Try a different way which uses a lot less
clicks:

If you have a meeting today and you want to move it to next Friday, Ctrl
Click next Friday on the Date Navigator (the little Calendar) so that day
shows, and then drag the meeting to the correct time on that day. Or you
could do that in Month view as you will already have both days showing.

This dragging method also works for copying meetings to more days if you
drag using the right mouse button.
