Default Tool Tips In Data Access Pages

I have a data base which displays allot of data via data access pages. The
reports share some of the same fields and field names. I would like to use
the tool tips feature on the DP to display explanations (definitions) of some
fields. Is it possible to use a table to maintain the tool tips?

For example is there some code or something i could use that would reference
a table for the field name and then assign that fields definition to the tool
tips.
