Default yes/no box

I have a table that holds actions pending from visits to branches. This table
has a "completed" field which is a yes/no (check) box.

I have a query which runs and looks for actions not yet completed (looks for
value 0 from the yes/no check box).

The query works fine and produces a "to do list". However, I can't chek the
yes/no box from the query to indicate actions completed - I have to go back
into the table and find the action I want to tick off the list.

Anyone know how I can chjeck the box from the query or from a form derived
from the query ?

So you can't update any of the fields in the query?

For a list of possible reasons, see:
Why is my query read-only?
