"552 Maximum message size exceeded"
When I try to send a message with a large attachment (17 Mb Powerpoint show),
it processes for an extended period of time, then gives the error message, "552 Maximum message size exceeded. Contact your ISP". My ISP does not support Outlook, only Outlook Express. I've tried disabling my Norton outgoin e-mail scanner, but that does not seem to help. I have never had this problem before. I have recently installed a new hard drive and had to reinstall Office XP. Any thoughts? Thanks, Mike |

(xxMB) this information can you get, if you contact your ISP! -- you can visit me on http://www.andreas-roeder.net newsgroup[at]andreas-roeder.net |

Check with them for the actual limit. As for workaround - try zipping the presentation with a compression utility like WinZip. Alternatively, you could break the presentation into smaller chunks to send and have the recipient put them back together into one presentation when he/she gets all the chunks. Regards, Andy D. |
