Default "Action" stripped from signature HTML?

Hi, trying to use a submit form in an Outlook 2003 signature. Basically
something like this:

form name="input" action="html_form_action.asp"
method="get"
input type="text" name="user"
input type="submit" value="Submit"
/form

Entered via FrontPage as signature editor or picking up HTML file. But the
resulting form in Outlook doesn't work, seems that Outlook strips the action
code from the HTML - using the signature results in a mail with this source
code:

html
head
META HTTP-EQUIV="Content-Type" CONTENT="text/html; charset=us-ascii"
meta name=Generator content="Microsoft Word 11 (filtered)"
style

p.MsoNormal, li.MsoNormal, div.MsoNormal

Any help appreciated
