EULA Question
Does anyone know if the EULA for Office 2003 Pro (Enterprise) allows a
member of staff who uses this at work to also install on his home PC (neither to be used at the same time)? I just wondered if anyone had a quick answer to save me reading through the EULA :-) Thanks |

EULA Question
The only authoritative answer is to read the EULA that your organisation
agreed with Microsoft or the distributor. See in an Office application, the Help/About for quick access. For what it's worth, the EULA I agreed with Microsoft, Paragraph 1.1b suggest what you want to do is not viable. (took me about 5 seconds to find this). Check with your IT department--or whoever signed the puchase/licensing agreement with Microsoft or the distributor. Hope this is useful to you. Let us know. rms Keith wrote: Does anyone know if the EULA for Office 2003 Pro (Enterprise) allows a member of staff who uses this at work to also install on his home PC (neither to be used at the same time)? EULA Question
Hi Keith,
No, there is no such right. Office Pro Ent do not allow special rights about number of machines where to install it. As other products u can insatall Office onlly in one machine (for a second PC you need to buy a second license). This is because when u try to activate the office in the second place (for example home PC) it will indicate that already exist one installation. So, if you tell what king of licensing program using your organization, I can give and more detailed answer. Regards, Maria |
