Hyperlink in Word to a PDF file
Hello,
I am in the initial stages of learning how to create a hyperlink in MSWord (we have Word 2000) and having that link to an external PDF file. The link to the PDF file should link to a specific location (paragraph, phrase, page, word) in the PDF file. Can someone give me pointers, resources, etc on how to do this? Thanks. Mike McWhinney |

Hyperlink in Word to a PDF file
This completely up to the program which loads the PDF file. I'm not
sure this possible with Adobe's Reader and/or Acrobat. I don't recall ever seeing this, but maybe. Look in the documentation for Adobe Reader (or Adobe Acrobat if this what you use) and find the launch options which will specify paragrpah, phrase, page, word). I know that complete documentation is available free or for purchase from Adobe. You could also consider reasking this on Adobe's support forum. Hope this is useful to you. Let us know. rms Mike McWhinney wrote: Hello, I am in the initial stages of learning how to create a hyperlink in MSWord (we have Word 2000) and having that link to an external PDF file.
