Colour in master title does not flow through to slide
I have created a title with non-black coloured words in my title only slide
master. When I then create a slide based on that master the words in the master title come up, but they are in black. When I click on the text in the box on the slide, with a view to explicitly setting the colour, the text goes away. I basically want the same title on all my slides and I want it be in a colour that I have chosen. I have had a look at the helps on masters, and I've also had a bit of a look at themes. but just can't find the right help. Please help. All ideas welcome. Which version of PPT are you using?
You may need to reapply the slide layout on your slide -- that "resets" the slide to reapply its master settings. -- Echo [MS PPT MVP] http://www.echosvoice.com What's new in PPT 2007? http://www.echosvoice.com/2007.htm Fixing PowerPoint Annoyances http://tinyurl.com/36grcd PowerPoint 2007 Complete Makeover Kit http://tinyurl.com/32a7nx "Philip Mark Hunt" wrote in message ... Colour in master title does not flow through to slide
Greetings
Thank you for advice. I have tried reapplying the layout, it does not solve the problem. I am using PPT 2007 SP2. Sorry it took me some time to get back to you, I had some problems relocating my post; words in post title not being found in search. Any more suggestions, welcome, please. -- Philip, Kwinana, Perth, Western Australia "Echo S" wrote: Which version of PPT are you using? Colour in master title does not flow through to slide
Hi, Philip,
What Lucy said. :-) Also, when you're on your title only slide layout (View | Master, choose the title only layout), what color does the slide background have? If you right-click on the edge of the slide and choose Format Background then go to the Fill Color tab, which color swatch is selected there? Then which color swatch have you selected for the title placeholder? This may be one where it's easier to have you send the file and let us look at it, but let's at least start with this before we go that route. -- Echo [MS PPT MVP] http://www.echosvoice.com What's new in PPT 2007? http://www.echosvoice.com/2007.htm Fixing PowerPoint Annoyances http://tinyurl.com/36grcd PowerPoint 2007 Complete Makeover Kit http://tinyurl.com/32a7nx "Philip Mark Hunt" wrote in message ...
