Default Margins, margins, margins

Once again I am once again plagued by Word 2000's "The margins of
Section 1 are set outside the printable area of the page. Do you want to
continue?" warnings. I created a 5.5" x 4.25" page with 0.5" margins.
When I print, I get the message. (The printer is an HP LaserJet 5, if
that matters.) Regardless of the margin settings I try, larger or
smaller, I get the error. Changing the header and footer settings does
not matter. It is as if there is a hidden setting somewhere that I am
not seeing. The envelope templates do not have this problem, including
the monarch envelope template. So, there is a trick somewhere that I am
unable to find. If you have a suggestion for a solution, it will be
appreciated!

Okay, I understand now. It is not a Word problem. Word is choking on
information it is getting back from the printer driver. I was able to
set up a custom page size on my HP 5150 DeskJet printer, and it worked
just fine.

Now, how can I add a custom size page to the HP LaserJet 5 driver?
