SysFader error fixed
I had problem opening OE 6 yesterday. The OE 6 simple popup a message:
"SysFader:msimn.exe memory cannot be read..." and other crap. I searched on the internet and user groups. People have had this problem for a couple of years. But no certain fix. And microsoft doesn't have a cure either. What I then did was actually no fancy at all. I went to microsoft site and found a "Cumulative Security Update for Outlook Express 6 Service Pack 1 (KB837009)" and installed it and it's fixed. I have no way of knowing if this would fix the problem but I know overwriting the existing OE is worth trying. So guys, don't forget the old rules when you have problem: 1. Restart and 2. Re-install |
