Default Who are these people?

For some unknown reason people I don't even know are being added to my
address book, how could this happen when I'm the only one that chooses who
should be included in my address book? Any help would be appreciated.

There's a new "feature" with OE 6, SP1 that puts everyone you respond to in
your address book. Check to see what's checked in Tools/Options/Send.

That it's ticked by default is new, not the feature, you're right.

I don't think so. I don't have an OE4, 5 or 5.5 to check but I don't
remember that being a part of setting up OE with the configuration I want
until OE6 and I do remember being surprised with the default after upgrading
to OE6. Then again, I could be wrong and my memory's failing me due to age
.... as I said, I don't have OE4, 5 or 5.5 to check.

I will, however, have one soon as I am putting together an old computer of
mine that has a restore cd from 2000, before OE 6 was released and I'll let
you know.
