section breaks in conveted docs
Here's the issue:
When I convert documents (from Word XP) with section breaks in them to Word 2007 documents I am having problems with the section breaks. For example, a section break should be an odd section break but it will come in as even, and when I change it it is not actually changing the break-- it leaves it as an even section break. In the end I have to delete the section breaks and reinsert them as the type I need. This isn't a huge deal in shorter documents, but if the document is large it is really inconvenient, not to mention that it messes up my headers, footers, and formatting when I remove the breaks to reinsert the proper one. Has anyone had any trouble with section breaks in converted documents, and if so, do you have any suggestions on what might be the problem? Thanks. |

Are you saying that you cannot change the type of section in the Page Setup
dialog box? -- Stefan Blom Microsoft Word MVP "raijin" wrote: Here's the issue: When I convert documents (from Word XP) with section breaks in them to Word 2007 documents I am having problems with the section breaks.
