Default Word - Missing Spelling and Grammar

I redid my system a few weeks ago and have discovered that at some point
in time, while reinstalling Office XP Professional, I neglected to
include spelling and grammar. I believe this is the case, since
tools/options/spelling and grammar is grayed out. I attempted to
reinstall the spelling and grammar component, but can't seem to figure
out how to do so. Can someone give me a hand? I'd appreciate it.

Thank you.

Hi John,

From Add/Remove programs in the Windows control panel select the Microsoft Office XP Professional product and then go to Add/Remove
features and check that the Proofing Tools for the languages you want are set to 'run from my computer'. If they're showing as
already set to 'run from my computer' then you may want to use the 'Repair/Reinstall' choice for MS Office XP from Add/Remove
Programs.

Restart the PC after installing those components.
