Default function to make a stock chart

I heard there is a function in Excel that would create a
stock chart based on companies you would enter in. Does
anyone have any insight on this ability? Thanks in
advance

There is no native capability within XL to chart a stock based on the
companies selected. Someone might have written an add-in; it should not
be particularly difficult.

XL does have the ability to create a range of stock charts from data in
a worksheet. See XL help for more.

You may simply be referring to MSN Internet Stock Quotes.XLS (or words to
that effect), a spreadsheet you can google for, download, then put your
stock and mutual fund symbols into the appropriate cell, and delayed quotes
are retrieved every time you refresh the screen. There are built-in links to
retrieve graphs from an internet site. Check it out and see if it helps.
