Counting Yes/No Fields in Reports
I need help in getting my report to count yes/no fields from my query. I need
the count to ignore the no or nulls and count only the yes. I have created an unbound text box in the report footer with the follwing expression - =Count([PassFail]) Is Not Null Or Not False - Where the field is PassFail and if it is checked that indicates a fail. What you can not see in my example below are the yes/no fields under Selected for Audit, Fail, and Coaching Opportunity. The above expression returns a -1 in Total Failed when it should read 1. OP ID Month Selected Fail Audited By Coaching Comments Dept Reviewed for Audit Opportunity IO004E 01/01/2005 AVC RA ANDY IO004E 01/01/2005 AVC DNA ANDY IO004E 01/01/2005 AVC A ANDY Total Selected for Audit 3 Total Failed -1 Any help would be greatly appreciated. -- Michael |

In the report footer (not the page footer) you can use: =ABS(Sum([PassFail])) -- Fred Please respond only to this newsgroup. I do not reply to personal e-mail |
