Default conversion tables for metric to imperial measurements

I would like a set of conversion tables for metric to imperial measurements
e.g metres to feet, litres to gallons etc for use in excel. Can anyone help?

Excel has that built in. Look at CONVERT in Excel help.

Default conversion tables for metric to imperial measurements

To get meter to feet table
Enter meters in Col A starting at A2
Enter this formula in B2 and copy down
=A2 * 3.2808399

For litres to gallons
enter litres in Col C from C2
and enter this formula in D2 and copy down...
=C2 * 0.264172052
or
=C2/3.78541178

.....

Default conversion tables for metric to imperial measurements

Your 3.78541178 is correct for US gallons to liters
BUT for Imperial gallons the value is 4.54609188 gallons per litres

Jefferson (who set up the US system of measures) chose the Queen Anne wine
gallon and the Brits opted for the older beer gallon
