Default Word 2003 Templates

I have a stylesheet that I link to various document templates. When I create
a document from the "style.dot" template all the defined styles seem to work
perfectly.

When I link the stylesheet to a document several of my defined bullet
styles mysteriously change there bullet symbol from a dot or dash to a number.

Anybody have any clues why this would happen.

I recently upgraded to Word 2007 hand have been using these macros in 2003
compatibility mode.

Are you using stylesheets or macros or both? If macros are involved, you
should be asking in a programming newsgroup such as
microsoft.public.word.vba.general. Be sure to post the code as well.
