2003, There are no Office Assistant character files
I just installed the Office 2003 SP-1, and rebooted, and
on one machine I am getting the "There are no Office Assistant character files present on the system. Please run Setup in maintenance mode and install at least one character." error. According to MS, it is a known issue when Office XP is installed, unfortunately, that is not the case here (it does have previous versions including Office 2000), but not Office 2002. I did go to Add/Remove and Disabled the Office Assistant and then go back and set them all to the Hard Drive, to no avail. Any ideas? |

Sorry. One more reboot did the trick.
