Appoinments don't display until you scroll

Hi --
This is a strange issue. I am using Outlook 2000 (Office SP3) client with Exchange Server 2000 with offline synchronization on this laptop. One user has complained that not all of his appointments are displaying in the monthly or workweek view for the last two months. If you move the scroll bar the appointments display. When trying print preview the appointments cannot be previewed unless you have selected 2 months and you scroll up to view one month then down to view the other month. If you try to print the calendar and choose a range from April 1 - April 30 - only some appointments will print - however if you extend the date range and choose 1 month per page - the full month of appointments will print.

There are no filters on the view.
1.) I have contacted Microsoft about a hotfix they say will fix the problem - did not work.
2.) I have installed Office SP3.
3.) I deleted the .ost file and re-sync'd the offline folders.
4.) When viewing the calendar via OWA - all appointments are displayed.

Has anyone had this problem?
