Default Calendar Items getting sent to Deleted Items folder

Hi, I use a BlackBerry and periodically sync my BB to my desktop. My problem
is, after a certain date, say like maybe a month or so-(that's Maybe). I
would lose all my calendar items that I have in the past. I just recently
found them in my "Deleted Items" folder in the mail tab. I did have auto
archive on, and just turned it off..I'm hoping that this is the issue..
Anyone else have this problem or have the fix?

Thanks in advance!

If you don't have your BB configured to save all past items forever, the sync
process will delete past items from Outlook.

you need to configure the BB calendar to keep items forever. when in
calendar, select options from the menu and go to general options - its one
of the last items.

No, I forgot to mention that I already have this setting set to "Forever" on
my BB. I also have the sync configured for "Sync All Items" which includes
past, present and future items...I have also tried to sync "999 days before
today" and "999 days after today" and it still does it...I just tried the
auto archive setting in Office 07 and turned it off...I'm thinking maybe that
was it? I have to wait a mont or 2 to see...but in the meantime, I wanted to
post.....

Autoarchive generally does not move items to Deleted Items, so that can't be
the problem. Autoarchive will either remove the items from their source
folder and place them in a second PST (without going through Deleted Items) or
it will permanently delete items (bypassing Deleted Items again). The only
time it might use the Deleted Items folder is when the items are expired and
you've configured Autoarchive to delete expired items.

Hi,

I experience the same issue with my BlackBerry (Curve 8900). I wonder
if you have found a solution for this problem. Would really like to
know.

I've found the following event in my logfiles:
40000] (09/22 10:19:16.137):{0x1204} }-Skip this
appointment End date:Thu Dec 18 16:00:00 2008 is before Slow Sync Start
date:Sun Aug 23 10:19:12 2009

In our environment we make use of an Archiving server (Symentec
Enterprise Vault). This might be a part of the problem too since the
latest update EV seems to use a different way to archive calender items.
However this cannot be confirmed yet.

Kind regards,
