table of contents - word changes page numbers when printing

I have a document that I created a table of contents for
the page numbers are correct until I print the table of
contents, for some reason Word changes the page numbers.
For example my document has 106 pages (as noted on the
TOC) but when requested to print the TOC shows 1-4. Can
someone help me understand why this is happening and how
to correct it. I've never had this problem before with a
TOC.
