Can't start Outlook in Office 2007 Trial
I downloaded the trial version of Office 2007. When I try to start Outlook,
I get the error message: "Microsoft Exchange is Unavailable." I click "Work Offline" and then I get the error message: "Cannot Open Your Default e-mail folders. The Information Store Could Not Be Opened." I have a feeling this has something to do with Outlook Express, which I used to use. I tried to uninstall it, but it did not appear on my Add/Remove Programs list. All I was able to do was uncheck it on the Windows Components Wizard. I am currently using Windows Live Mail instead of Outlook Express, but I would still like to get Outlook 2007 up and running. Any suggestions? |

You have configured an incorrect connection type, 'Exchange'
Use the mail applet in the control panel to remove exchange and correctly configure your type of connection - pop, imap or? "Steve" wrote in message ... I downloaded the trial version of Office 2007.
