Reinstalling Office 2003
Correct--I get an error message when I click on File/ Import-Export.
I didn't do a complete removal of Office--I just used the wizard in Add-Remove programs to make installation adjustments with a few Office apps (Including Outlook). I am wondering if a complete reinstall of the whole Office program is in order. -- Regards "ernie" wrote: Just to be absolutely clear, the Import/Export Wizard does not appear, but the error message box does, when you click Import/Export on the File menu? I assume, from your subject line, that you have done a complete reinstall of Office 2003. I am out of ideas, but you *might* get an answer from a search of the MS Knowledge Base rather than Google. Reinstalling Office 2003
Ernie, you're a genius!
Import and Export wizard is up and running, and I just imported all of my e-mail and message rules from OE 6! Now that I think about, I believe that this is the way that I imported my contacts, mail, etc. the first time back in March--Not from a .csv file as I first thought. I hope this thread is a big help for someone else later on. One thought though--My MSOcache is stored on F drive. Could it have been deleted or corrupted when I went about the process of removing temp files? I remove them from time to time. -- Regards "ernie" wrote in message ... Does this help?
