Default Word Count

Surely in an advanced program like Publisher 2007 there is some facility for
doing a word count on a document. Where is it ?

I find this approach to the problem of doing a word count on a document in
Publisher 2007 about as antiquated as the Ark. This is in addition to the
problem with trying to justify text which was simple on Publisher 2003 but
has disappeared on the current vesion . I have no criticism of Mary Sauer who
is probably just trying to help, but if microsoft cannot do better than this
with their new fangled programmes then they will probably find that they are
no longer Number 1,

Publisher is not a word processing program. Proper tool for the job.
