Default WHY DO HYPERLINKS IN EXCEL 2003 NOT WORK IN EXCEL 2000

I was just upgraded to Excel 2003. The hyperlinks in a spreadsheet that
other users on Excel 2000 use are not working after I create them in Excel
2003. The Excel 2000 users are getting the error that the file is not found.
I noticed when I edit the hyperlink, that there is now a %20 between some of
the directories.
Is there anyway around this short of upgrading all of the other users to 2003?
