Importing file from Outlook 2002 using Windows XP
Previous to using Windows XP, I had no problem exporting my contact file into a *.pst file and sending it to the various users here at the office. However, since we switched to Windows XP the process is not supported. I now have to have the users delete the old distribution lists in their contacts folder then drag and drop the updated distribution lists into the specified contacts folder. This wouldn't be a problem except their are over 100 distribution lists and they are updated on a regular basis. Is their any fix for this problem?

I've never seen a DL survive an import. That's one of many reasons we advise
against importing PST's. You should have been creating new PST's then opening them in the other installations all along--much less chance for data corruption. -- Russ Valentine [MVP-Outlook] "Connie Gross" wrote in message news Previous to using Windows XP, I had no problem exporting my contact file into a *.pst file and sending it to the various users here at the office.
