Default slideshow transition effects

Is there any way to get additional transition effects in the slideshow like fades with hearts and other shapes other than what is in the program? Are there any downloads on the net?

The only additional transitions I am aware of are PowerPlugs, provided by a
company call crystal graphics.

But you can, using some creativity, make it appear like there are a lot of
addition transition effects:

For instance, you can capture an image if the end of one slide, and another
of the beginning of the next. Then use the transitions available in Windows
Movie Maker 2 (free download, I believe) to make a small movie. Insert the
movie at the beginning of the 2nd slide, with auto play, and it will seem
like a new transition type. Essentially, this is what PowerPlugs does, but
in a more polished form). You will want to use caution if you will be
playing this presentation on any computer other than you own, since
PowerPoint may not be able to get another computer to play the movie file.

You can also use screen captures and utilize transparencies, animations or
(in PowerPoint 2002 or better) even groups of animations to create
additional transition-like effects.
