Default entering product key

I purchased a 3 installation office 2007 and have succesfully installed it on
a desktop pc using XP and it is working fine. I installed the same disk on a
laptop using Vista and it installed fine but would not accept the letter "L"
in the product key. Said L was not a
legitimate key letter! It is now installed without the product key. How can
I get the product key installed?

Are you sure it is "L" and not "l' or "1" ? What is the exact error
message?
