Default Large File Sizes

I'm having a problem with file size for a particular
file. The file is based on a template from my company,
and even if I cut it to one slide of text only, the file
is over 2MB. I assumed this was based on background
images, which I tried to replace with just a simple white
background. However, even after doing this, the file
remained at 2MB.

I even went so far as applying another design template,
one that seemed very basic, but the file size didn't
change.

What am I missing here? Is there any simple technique
(or VBA code) that allows me to strip out whatever is
causing this, especially for situations when dial-up is
required?

Thanks,
Todd

Excellent. Thanks. I think it's the Outlook review
feature that was messing me up.

I also want to setup an option that allow me to remove
background images from master slides. Anyone have a quick
set of code I could use for this? I suspect I can figure
it out, but thought I'd ask.

Thanks again.

Todd

Todd,

View Master Slide Master

Select the image and delete it

Or it may be in "format background fill effects picture"...so just give it a fill color to override the picture.

Cheers
