i like to have grid layout in office to place content
I feel it will be greate if there is grid like layout in word for positioning

i like to have grid layout in office to place content
There is one for positioning objects, namely, the document grid.
On the Drawing toolbar, click Draw, and then click Grid. Specify the settings that you want. To save the settings to the template, click the Default button; to save them to the current document, just click OK. There is no grid for text placement, no. The best you can do is to set
Line Spacing to "Exactly" and specify the desired value.
