There are a few options he
Convert presentations to VHS or DVD video

It depends on the nature of the presentation, but I would save the slides as
pictures then use Movie Maker. Or if it was all pictures, I would scrap the
PowerPoint file and create the whole thing in PhotoStory 3 (free for Windows
users) as it has nice pan & zoom effects and is dead easy to use.
