Put a drag and drop facility into PowerPoint. Like Adobe Flash
ASs a teacher I use MS PP for lessons. I use the Hyperlink facility to make
interactive games for the kids.Quiz type things- What would help me and heaps of other educators, is more Asd\\dobe Flash features. A 'Drag and Drop' facility so that kids cxan interact with the Powerpoint on Smartboards. For instance. You build a PP on Gases, Solids and Liquids. Then you build a quiz to support it. The Ss are asked to drag different materials ...a pencil, some ink, fly spray ...into the different categories displayed on the smartboard using MS PowerPoint. They can touch on it on the screen and shift it with their hands to the right category. If it is correct it stays there if not it flicks back to where it came from. This is just an extension of your animation facility ...but would help teachers hugely. You can have a look at tools like Raptivity Presenter (http://www.raptivity.com/Presenter) and YawnBuster (http://www.yawnbuster.com). They have ready library of such interactions - work directly inside PowerPoint.
