Default Office Deployment via GPMC

Hi,
I have made some changes on the OCT file and have the office install in the
silent mode. I need to know couple of things:
1) Under group policy object/User configuration/Software installation,
what .msi file I can put there. It has setup in the file but no msi file.
2) Where do I look in the OCT tool to make it put the Office Icons on the
desktop automatically while it will install office 2007 in the background.

Hi Faisal Zia,

Are you deploying using Office 2007's Setup.exe and the .MSP files created by the Office Customization Tool (OCT) or are you
deploying using Group Policy? For Office 2007 they're not interchangeable as far as procedures. The Office 2007 Products use
multiple .MSI files.

I am deploying office 2007 via Group Policy. I have created a network share
on the root of C drive on that server which contains all of the Office 2007
files. So I am looking for the msi file that I put in the group policy via
assign method.
