Default Printing a picture that is exactly 8.5 by 11

I created a photo in a photo editing program that is exactly 8.5 by 11. When I import the photo into word or publisher it still gives me a border around the edges, or it leaves off the edges of the picture when I set the margins to 0. Are there any settings in Publisher or any other program that you know of that will allow me to print the full 8.5 by 11 pic as is.

Thanks,
M. Anderson

Microsoft Publisher will print 8.5 x 11" on an 8.5 x 11" sheet of paper if
your printer supports borderless printing.
No application will if it does not.

Suggestions:
a) Check out the settings in your printer driver - sometimes (I've seen this
on Epson drivers), you have to check a box saying "Use expanded print area"
or similar to enable the printer to print borderless
b) Print on larger paper (about 9 x 11.5" would do it, if you could find
paper that size), and then trim down to 8.5 x 11"
c) Buy a printer that supports borderless printing. Most of the new HP
printers now support borderless (check out the specs in the shop) - it is
also sometimes referred to as "full bleed" printing

To find out the maximum print area of your printer, check out the tutorial
