Hi Lil_Wen,

A pixel does not have a predetermined size.
Settings are in terms of density (i.e. how many
pixels are to be compressed into an inch [PPI]).

In some cases and graphics formats that information
(PPI) is stored in the graphic itself. In others
it's a setting of the program for graphics that
don't provide that stored information. For example,
in Word it's in Tools=Options=general=Web Options=Pictures
For webpages either 72PPI or 96PPI are used as common
settings. GIF files are 96PPI.

You can set the size of a picture's display on a
web page as part of the Web page HTML rather than
actually resizing the graphic, but
it's 'cleaner' to customize the graphic in many situation.

You may want to use a different graphic app for
working with resizing the graphic, such as
http://www.irfanview.com that will allow you to
store the value in JPG and other file formats.
