I have an auto shape that contains a hyperlink to initiate Outlook with a
prefilled subject line. The problem is that sometimes the subject line does
not appear when some users click the link. I went tback to edit the
hyperlink and the Email address and Subject fields are correct. I can
successfully initate it from my computer. Trying to figure out where the
break is? Is it PPT or Outlook? Please help.

Probably Outlook or its settings, since the same PPT works sometimes but not
others.

Try testing with mailto: links in a web page. See if the failure occurs on the
same PCs. Then you *know* it's not PPT.

I'd check to see if they have different Outlook versions (and to be sure that
the link actually launches Outlook and not some other email app).

Check the Outlook security settings and SP levels as well.

You might also want to post this same question in the Outlook group on this
same site.

What does your hyperlink look like? Be sure to use ' ' for your
subject and body part in the hyperlink. Sometimes extra space will
confuse Outlook too,
And if you still doubt your PPT, you can create a simple test HTML
page with a href = "YOUR MAIL TO CODE" Test here/a to verify where
the fault goes.
