Default Breaking Links

I have been developing a workbook in excel 2000 and have somehow
managed to link a data workbook to the display file. I need to break
this link as other people using the display workbook will not have
access to the data files.

In building the new display workbook I have copied and special pasted
values into the new work book as I go. There are no direct references
to any cells in the data workbook. I have no idea where the link(s)
are but need to get rid of them.

Any help much appreciated.

Thanks for the feedback. Do keep Bill Manville's link at
Stephen Bullen's MVP page handy because sooner or later
you will need it. Though I think I would use this link to read
about FINDLINK first, rather than going straight for the download.

Hi Frank,

I have a similar problem to Duncan so I have downloaded
the add in you recommended, however once I open it nothing
seems to happen! Can you give any further instructions
please?! (Apologies for being so dense!)

Thanks,

Marie Claire

With the workbook containing the links active, use Tools / Find Links
