It would seem like an obvious question, but how does one
graph a line/curve of best fit for their data?

One way is to create an XY (Scatter) chart and then use Add Trendline.

Use Add Trendline from the Chart menu, and follow the steps in the dialog to define
the type of trendline you want, and any options.
