operation cancelled/system administrator
Hi,
my friend is using Office 2007 Home & Student version on Vista Home Premium system, I am trying to help her but I have the Office 2007 Ultimate version and our Help sections and Options are different. She used to be able to click on hyperlinks from One Note and now when she tried she gets this message: "this operation has been canceled due to restrictions in effect on this computer. please contact your system administrator" She gets the same message when she tries to click on the "More Themes from Office Online" link in PowerPoint Another user on her system can use hyperlinks in One Note and go to Office Online with a link in PowerPoint. We cannot seem to find any information about how to correct this problem. I would appreciate any suggestions. Thanks, Glenda |

Hi, I am sorry, I should have mentioned in my post my friend has administrative privileges on this computer and can not click on hyperlinks but her guest who does not have administrative privileges can click on the links with no problem or error message. Thanks, Glenda |

Thanks so much for the link. I had seen this problem addressed with Outlook but did not realize it applied to other Office apps. I hope it works for her. I will post back. Thanks, Glenda |
