Default Two Charts On One

Is it possible to show two charts on one; similar to a
stock chart showing both the price on top with the
corresponding volume on the bottom? I know how to do the
two axies thing, but the scaling gets goofed up. I can
do two separate charts which sit atop one another but
that doesn't look good. Any Ideas? Thanks Jim

Jim -

I've done this both ways. Putting it into a single chart requires a lot of work
setting up the axes, but you can use

http://peltiertech.com/Excel/Charts/ArbitraryAxis.html

to fudge your compound axis, and

http://peltiertech.com/Excel/Charts/...Gridlines.html
or
http://peltiertech.com/Excel/Charts/AddLine.html

to add a line separating top and bottom parts.

Doing it with two charts is less work setting up the separate parts, but much more
work assuring that the time scales of the two charts are synchronized.
