Embedded tables changing into pictures
I am working in a Word document and am embedding Excel tables (both are the
2002 XP versions). When I first paste the table, it is an Excel table but a few minutes later it suddenly changes to a picture. Does anyone know what is causing this or how I can resolve this issue? Thanks! |

If you use "Paste Special..." & then select "link" & "...Excell Spreadsheet",
it will remain a linked table. It will even update automatically if you revise the spreadsheet. -- Emil "amrach" wrote: I am working in a Word document and am embedding Excel tables (both are the 2002 XP versions). Thanks! This has corrected the problem. Any idea why this works differently
than the other option of: Paste Specia-"Paste" option "As Microsoft Excel Worksheet object" instead of the "Paste link" option?
